3-step textured hair routine: wash, treat, style

3-step textured hair routine: wash, treat, style

Do you need a routine for your textured, wavy, curly, frizzy hair, and you’re lost between ten products and twenty steps?   Good news: An effective routine can be done in three steps.

This is the trend for 2026: less products, more consistency, and a real listening to your hair.

Why a minimalist routine for textured hair?

Textured hair needs softness. The more you manipulate it, the more it gets tangled and the longer the hairstyle becomes. A short routine, repeated every week, often produces better results than a complicated routine that is abandoned after three weeks.

The idea: wash, treat, style, With a maximum of two washes per week, to be adapted to your scalp and your lifestyle.

Step 1: Wash

Shampooing is primarily used to clean the scalp. Wet your hair thoroughly, apply the shampoo to the root and massage with your fingertips, without rubbing the lengths. When rinsing, the foam will naturally run down and will be enough to clean up the rest.

Our shampoo Caribbean Fusion [Tropical shampoo for textured hair: Gently cleanses, 98 % % natural origin, Certified COSMOS Organic. Free of sulfates and silicones, Vegan, made in France] is designed for this stage.

Tip: If your hair is very long or very thick, divide it into four sections to wash it without tangling.

Step 2: Treatment

This is the most important step for textured hair. After shampooing, squeeze out the excess water with a microfiber towel or an old cotton T-shirt, without rubbing.

Then apply the Lingzhi Mask [99% natural origin. Formulated with Lingzhi, organic shea butter and ylang-ylang to nourish, protect and define the most demanding curls. No silicones or sulfates.] Thread by thread, from the tips towards the roots. Then detangle on wet hair, using your fingers or a wide-toothed comb, starting with the tips. Leave on for [time to be indicated], then rinse.

Tip: Unraveling the hair when the mask is still on limits the damage and saves time.

Step 3: Hairdressing

Apply your usual hair styling product on still damp hair, then scrunch : Gently squeeze the strands upwards in the palm of your hand to form the loops.

For drying, two options:

  • In the open air, Without touching it, if you have time.
  • To the warm-temperature diffuser, by lifting the strands without twisting them.

Once the hair is dry, wait before touching it. This is the best way to avoid frizzy hair.
